Hall Hire Charges, Fees and Deposits - please contact Bookings Secretary
Basic Rate card
REGULAR USERS Community groups and hirers looking to hire the Hall on a regular basis should contact our Booking Secretary to discuss availability and hire-rates.
DEPOSITS Up to half day hire £50 Full day and
parties £100 50% payable on booking (if earlier) and 50% one month prior to
event Warning: You may loose some or all of your deposit if
you cancel, and an alternative hirer cannot be found
the room(s) have not been left in good order
there is damage to the hall or its contents whilst you are hiring it
you lose the keys or fail to lock up securely on leaving
you are in breach of any other of the conditions of hire supplied to
you
The foregoing does not preclude a claim
against you for damages in excess of any deposit paid.
CANCELLATIONS
Once booked, sessions may only be cancelled or moved at the discretion of the Booking Secretary. Fees will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances. Additional sessions not pre-booked may be charged at the full rate. For more details please contact our Bookings Secretary.
PARTIES Please note that if the nature of your
function or event is such that it will effectively monopolize use of the whole
Hall, the WVHA reserves the right to offer you the Hall for hire only on the ALL
ROOMS basis. This applies particularly to parties and functions, stage
and/or musical performances and similar events.
