Moo Music

Fancy a free taster at the fastest growing music class? Look no further.... Moo Music is a fun, creative and interactive music and movement session with 100 fantastic songs written for it by professional children's song writer, Craig McLeish who has also worked on hit West End shows like Les Miserables and Miss Saigon as well as many television favourites. Moo Music features four original characters- Maggie Moo, Ollie Oink, Henry Horse and Doris Duck. Each class is cleverly designed to develop vital language, memory and co-ordination skills while the little ones have a whale of a time. Each 45 min session features a selection of Moo Music songs with a wide range of themes and children get the chance to sing, dance, play games, learn actions and experiment with percussion instruments. And because Moo Music has been developed with the help of teachers and child development specialists, parents can be sure that their children are benefitting from a first-rate educational experience while they are moving and grooving!   NOMADS   For those of you who may not have heard of us NOMADS is a small amateur dramatic group based in Woodley in Romsey. Since the Woodley Village hall was opened they have been using it as a permanent meeting place in which to rehearse and stage productions to entertain the local community and support local charities. A great deal of experience has been gained over the years in all the different areas needed to stage a successful production from publicity to stage management and this has been passed on to new members. NOMADS try to ensure that every member has the chance to participate in whatever way they can and this can often mean doing a bit of everything ! Regular meetings are held most Fridays at 8 p.m., to discuss past and future productions and any other business or just rehearse! With the emphasis on leisure activities nowadays, it has been realised that people will want to pursue a variety of interests in their spare time, such as education and sport, so we do try and keep rehearsal times down to six weeks. Productions are usually put on over half-term breaks or on Friday and Saturdays when the Woodley Village Hall is available and junior members can participate fully. Our main production of the year is as always the pantomime in February, when we put on several performances. During the year we try to put on a play or a supper evening and we usually get involved in the Romsey Carnival - not forgetting of course the odd social evening we manage to fit in for ourselves ! To raise funds in addition to ticket sales, we also hold regular Table Top sales and include a raffle in each of our productions.; More details

Romsey Road Runners is an amateur running club, encouraging runners of all ages, experiences and abilities. We offer a programme of training, racing and social events, and there is no pressure to do any more than you feel capable of doing. There is, however, lots of encouragement from like-minded people who understand the joys and pain of running.
We run throughout the year from Woodley Village Hall at 6:30pm on Monday evenings, and also on Thursday evenings from Romsey Sports Centre.
